In order to promote the implementation of the superior's deployment and arrangement on epidemic prevention and control, actively respond to the impact of the epidemic on the management of postgraduate students, ensure the smooth implementation of postgraduate guidance work while preventing and controlling the epidemic, and ensure the quality of high-level talent training. At 13:00 p.m. on April 4, 2022, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering held a working meeting for all master's supervisors online. Guo Hui, Vice Dean, presided over the conference, which was attended by more than 100 tutors of master's students. The conference aims to work with students and tutors to fight against the epidemic, and publicize and exchange the current situation, policies and precautions of campus epidemic prevention management.
Vice Dean Guo Hui first explained the current situation of the school's epidemic management and students' demands. Secondly, for the management and ideological work of postgraduates inside and outside the college, he further clarified the task, put forward clear requirements on how to effectively promote the guidance of postgraduate graduation thesis during the epidemic prevention period, and summarized and communicated the organization of postgraduate re examination and postgraduate dissertation defense.
Vice Dean Guo Hui stressed that "we will work together to overcome the epidemic. Our instructors should convey this confidence, interact with students more, grasp the guidance of study, and ensure that students have healthy psychology and physiology."
At the end of the meeting, all the tutors who attended the meeting had a warm exchange on the training and management of postgraduates during the epidemic situation. The participants further unified their thoughts, gathered consensus, and said that they should implement the relevant arrangements and deployment of the postgraduates' work, strictly implement the epidemic prevention policies and measures, and firmly win the battle against the epidemic with the confidence that "we will work together to overcome difficulties, and the spring will be warm".
